The Scuderi Group just completed a week-long visit to Munich, Germany, where it attended the MTZ-Konferenze Motor, where automotive R&D engineers from around Europe descended to discuss powertrain development, new hybrid technologies, and Europe’s tough emissions standards.
Scuderi engineering and licensing representatives participated in the event, meeting with a number of European contacts from the automotive OEM, supplier, or academic sectors. The intimate venue gave the Scuderi Air-Hybrid Engine great exposure to the region, which helped drive new meetings with more European automakers, including a long off-site meeting at the one of the local OEMs in Munich . A couple of press interviews were also conducted.
The highlight of the event was the Scuderi Group’s sponsoring of the grand cocktail reception prior to the MTZ Banquet on 3 June held at the Schlofs Dachau Castle in Munich. Scuderi Group Vice President Stephen Scuderi gave a short presentation of the air-hybrid engine’s technology and its impact on the industry, particularly the engine’s ability to surpass European emission standards without compromising power and fuel efficiency.

We’ve had great discussions with the OEMs here and we’re excited about the continued progress this event allows us to make.”
The Scuderi Group plans to participate in the event next year and present their technology in more depth.
